Nowadays, everyone has heard of quantum computers and associates them with the future of computer science. But what exactly are quantum computers? How are they described and how do they compare to classical computers? In this talk I will go through the basics with you, from physics, quantum bits to logic gates and circuits, finally to a selected algorithm. In conclusion, I will talk about current implementations and developments of quantum computers.
