Digital award ceremony of the ASQF sponsorship award 2020

The Working Group Software Quality and Training (ASQF). (ASQF) significantly shapes the development and assurance of software and system quality and promotes an internationally uniform education and training of (IT) professionals. Konzept Informationssysteme GmbH regularly sponsors the ASQF award at various universities. Two students from the Nürnberg University of Technology received sponsorship awards for their final theses.
On Friday, November 20, 2020, two master's theses were honored with the prestigious ASQF Grant Award at a virtual award ceremony. The two award winners came from different disciplines: Mr. Christoph Schüßler is studying Electronic and Mechatronic Systems (M. Eng.) at the Nürnberg University of Technology, while Mr. Christian Vogt is a continuing education student at the OHM Professional School of the Nürnberg University of Technology in the Software Engineering & Information Technology program with a focus on Usability Engineering (M. Sc.).

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Frank Pöhlau, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Precision Engineering and Information Technology at Nürnberg University of Applied Sciences, read out the appreciation of the master's thesis of Mr. Christoph Schüßler. He received the prize for his thesis on the topic "Development of an optically fed sensor system for the evaluation of a strain gauge". As a native of Franconia, our sales manager Ralf Vogel was pleased that we are once again sponsoring a prize winner at the university where he himself graduated.

Unfortunately, Mr. Christian Vogt could not attend the meeting, but he will receive his certificate as well as his prize money soon. Mr. Vogt wrote the award-winning thesis on the topic "Analysis and visualization of innovative usability concepts to better support app developers on the cloud-based IoT platform MindSphere".

In addition to prize money, the award winners receive a one-year free membership to ASQF. Ms. Thea-Therese Selbmann introduced the association along with its achievements to the attendees and was pleased to welcome Mr. Schüßler and Mr. Vogt to the ASQF.

At this point we would like to congratulate the award winners again and wish them much success for their further professional and private future.
